For international students, Beijing Normal University provides a variety of scholarships including Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A and Type B), Confucius China Studies Program, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, Beijing Government Scholarship, BNU New International Student Scholarship, Beijing Normal University "Silk Road Muduo” Scholarship, The Belt and Road School Scholarship (only for prospective students of The Belt and Road School).

2. How to apply for Chinese Government Scholarship？
Chinese Government Scholarship Programs provide two kinds of scholarships, respectively Type A (Bilateral Program) and Type B (Chinese University Program), the two of which have different requirements. For more guidance, please consult the BNU Admission Brochure or visit “Scholarship” column on the International Students admission website (https://admission-is.bnu.edu.cn/english/index.html).
3. How to apply for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship?
Firstly, please refer to the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Application System (http://cis.chinese.cn) for information on host institutions and recommending institutions; after that, application materials should be submitted through the online system. Meanwhile, you should also log in the BNU International Student Application System (https://international.bnu.edu.cn/) to upload your application and materials required.
4. How to apply for Beijing Normal University scholarships?
Beijing Normal University provides the following scholarships for international students:
BNU New International Student Scholarship
Beijing Normal University "Silk Road Muduo” Scholarship
Beijing Government Scholarship
The Belt and Road School Scholarship
When applicants filling out the application at https://international.bnu.edu.cn/, select the BNU Scholarships they would like to apply for.
5. Can I apply for scholarship for Non-Degree programs?
Chinese Government Scholarship, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship and Confucius China Studies Program are available for applicants of Non-Degree programs.
6. When will I get to know the result of application?
BNU will release and notify the results of the scholarship evaluation through the application system (https://international.bnu.edu.cn/).
7. If I fail to get scholarships which mentioned above, are there any other scholarships that I can apply after entering BNU?
